This pathway is supported by over 100 regional teachers and encompasses schools across multiple districts. Employers working within the Career+™ ecosystem provide students and their future employees with the following benefits: work-based learning opportunities (internships, apprenticeships, and summer jobs); higher entry-level wages, career advancement, fringe benefits, and financial support for continuing education. These employers represent the following industries: advanced manufacturing, healthcare, supply chain and logistics, and starting in ‘24 – ‘25 school year will include building trades, information technology, and agriculture technology. This list includes a diverse range of institutions, such as McCutcheon High School, Harrison High School, Seeger High School, Logansport High School, Central Catholic Jr./Sr. High School, Faith Christian School, West Lafayette High School, Frontier Jr./Sr. High School, Attica High School, Oakland Academy, and Tri-County Jr./Sr. High School. Furthermore, additional schools interested in adopting the Career+™ graduation pathway have the opportunity to apply for its implementation through the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). This expansion signifies the broad reach and adaptability of the Career+™ initiative, reflecting its potential to transform educational experiences across a wide array of learning environments. To facilitate this intricate process, Skyepack, Inc. has been appointed as the Technical Assistance Partner. Their role involves constructing the necessary infrastructure and curriculum to maintain consistency and minimize disjointed efforts across the board.
To streamline this ecosystem, Skyepack has developed the Career+™ Ecosystem Platform. This platform is designed to enhance collaboration among all stakeholders, ensuring the integration of data systems. The platform is utilized by Career+™ coaches, school counselors, microcredential instructors, and other professionals involved in career-connected learning.
